Yesterday Justin took the day off. We had a fun day!! I started off the day at 5:45 going to water aerobics. It was interesting, mostly full of older ladies talking. Not sure it is the best for me...I like a rip roaring aerobic workout, where my heart rate at least breaks 100 BPM. LOL. Justin went to the laundromat and did the laundry for me. Soon after we drove to Sterling, CO to look for a washer and dryer. Was that a coincidence? First we ate lunch at a little dive of a Mexican restaurant. It was yummy! Then we looked around at Home Depot, went to Dollar Tree, then Sears. At Sears we found a nice Kenmore high efficiency front-load washer and dryer. The sales guy dropped $250 off each appliance plus 10%! After looking online I could not find a better deal. I wanted a huge tub, since the laundromat only has 3.0 CF washers. I am all for one load to end them all. The one we found is 4.0 CF, so it is pretty huge. We walked out of there a little nervous! Large purchases like that always make us nervous. Still, we NEED a washer and dryer and this was a pretty awesome deal. My belly can't take many more laundromat trips. The pair will be delivered around the 19th of May. Ironically, the benefits manager called Justin today at work to let me know the company washer and dryer were finally available. We almost returned the set we just bought. Hopefully, we won't need to! PLEASE LET OUR HOUSE SELL SOON....until till then Happy Mother's Day to me!! Thanks Justin!
I was very glad to finally find some house plants at Home Depot. Our little apartment now has two new green plants to brighten up the space. We saw a really super cute house last night that is for sale here in Sidney. The price is right!
Check it out by clicking here! Amelia helped me pot my new plants. She had a wonderful time getting her hands dirty and sweeping up the dirt afterwards.
This afternoon I finished three shirts, a pair of bloomers, and a crocheted hat. All were orders from last week. I think they turned out pretty cute. Most of the morning was spent at Walmart and making fresh salsa. The salsa turned out so yummy we ate more than half of it at lunch!
