Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday is a special day! Saturday was a windy day too! I was worried we would not be able to do our egg hunt outside it was so windy. I took the kids over to the library egg hunt. There were so many kids there that half the kids never had a chance to even start looking. The ambitious ones ended up sharing the eggs with the kids who had no eggs. It was nice to watch the kids passing eggs around. Some teenagers escorted Amelia and Phillip to the courtyard and hid the eggs they found for my kids. It was a very sweet gesture.
The wind died down to a bearable speed once the sun started to set. The kids were so very excited that the Easter Bunny came to our side yard, even with me in the yard to help him out. The silly bunny planted candy carrots, hung some lip gloss in the tree, hid books in the tree, and planted some marshmallow peeps. We had a great time watching the kids race around finding all the eggs. Everett was flapping his arms while the kids ran around. His Easter snack was a carton of goldfish, Heaven! My favorite snapshot of the evening was watching the kids blow bubbles. Phillip ate the bubble wand while squeezing solution all over the ground. Amelia's face was a cute mixture of delight and concentration.

Love the action shots and the bubble blowing! I laughed out loud at Phillips attempt to drink the solution!
